Ek Tha Tiger is a 2012 Indian action spy film, directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. The film was the third collaboration of Kabir Khan with Yash Raj Films after Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009). The plot centers on an Indian spy (RAW) code-named Tiger who falls in love with a Pakistani spy (ISI) during an investigation and how Tiger's ideology and principles change over time.

Principal photography began in New Delhi in November 2014, and the film had a worldwide release on July 17, 2015 during the Eid weekend.
